Here’s yet another installment of my project 550i V12. Though there were plans to bolt on a manual transmission, it has been temporarily shelved. This is due to the chronic slippage from the auto transmission a few days ago. Though it was already slipping when the car just came out of the shop, it was still drivable. The final straw came when some technician took it for a drive after correcting the wheel alignment. Anyways, here are some pictures of the disassembled 750i transmission. Look at the size of the torque converter..

This is like I did a few months ago, my auto transmission also slipped. well done, Tom. So , the monster will be back on the street. Can’t wait to see your car when I visit KL on April.
thanks, the shop is still looking for the rest of the parts. I have chosen not purchase the complete repair kit due to the price. So the shop will be hunting for specific replacements (clutches) as well as the standard gaskets and oil seals.
they have found the first half and they’re still gathering the rest.
i guess, if everything works out fine, the car may be ready by this weekend.
