hi OZ

hmm, that'll be the E34 540i touring?

I'm sure there's a way to minimise the stuff you need to go V12 since you've already got a great 540i base to begin with.

You should be able to keep all your brakes, a/c, steering system, instrumental gauges etc and most probably, even your transmission assuming if you buy only the basics which are the M70 V12 complete with engine harness and the 2 motronic ECUs controlling either side of the V12 banks. You would also need the drive-by-wire control unit which sits beside the ecus.

It really depends on how you buy your V12 donor.

do you by any chance have a cheap V8 manual transmission? I am eager to buy one for mine :)

thanks!

Just wanted to say the engine looks nice... But I have some questions, I have a 540 touring, and working on putting in a V12 in it. Wondering what problems will I face, and what can I keep with the car etc. transmission, brakes, air condition, and more. Thanks in advance... Want to go fast in Germany...
